Paula D. Gross was born in Dallas, Texas. Her family comes from a long line of individuals involved in vegetation management, cotton farming, ginning, ranching, and horse training. Growing up in this agricultural industry learned the value of integrity and building a good reputation early from the GROUND UP. In October of 1979, she convinced her then husband to start their own business spraying weeds, using his license, education and experience. Paula borrowed $6,000 from her grandmother to get the necessary equipment to start this business. In 1986 Paula repaid the loan from her grandmother in full and took over the business of Evergreen Spray Service, Inc..In May of 1986, Paula, now a single mother of 3, obtained her first pesticide license from the State of Arizona and continued pursuing and obtaining licenses and certifications in Nevada, New Mexico, California, and Utah. Her minority certification has survived as being the longest active DBE in all the states mentioned. As a woman owned business in this industry, it has been an uphill climb all the way. Paula is very driven, aggressive and compassionate about her business. Paula's clients, from 1979 to present, have been of utmost importance to her. In the past 43 years, and many licenses later; Paula has grown her business to over $1,000,000 in average annual income in some years, and with all of these certifications and licenses under her belt, she is ready to take it to a much higher level, especially given her long list of qualified contacts earned over the many years she has been in the Landscape, Vegetation Management, Dust Control, Tree Removal, Solar/Power Plant Construction, and Surveying. Paula looks forward to helping and working with anyone planning, designing or contracting jobs that can benefit from her 43 years of experience in these services she can provide.
